Any business that is actively ordering products from Toolcat — retailers and industry customers alike. While that trading relationship is active you get the full toolkit free, with no product limit. Ask your Toolcat contact, or sign up and mention your account; we switch it on. If you stop trading with us, the workspace stays yours and simply moves to a paid plan (or read-only export) — your data is never held hostage.

One packaged product, held as one dossier. The dossier carries every component of that product, its evidence, its target markets and its audit state. So a 0.5 litre bottle with a cap and a label is one product, not three. The limit is what you hold at once, not what you do per month: regenerate documents as often as you like. Packaging versions: when a supplier changes a film, add a version. The old dossier freezes for its retention clock. The app scores the new one. Only current versions count against the plan.

You cannot add a new product until you upgrade or delete one you no longer sell — that is all. Everything already in the workspace keeps working: existing products stay fully editable, documents regenerate without limits, and export is never blocked. Re-importing your own catalogue also keeps working at the limit; only additions count against it.

As many as you need. People are not a price dimension here: every plan, the free trial included, allows unlimited team members in the workspace. An owner or an administrator creates the account and hands over a one-time temporary password. The person changes it at first sign-in, and there are no email invitations to wait for. Four roles decide what each account sees. The owner manages administrators and the subscription. Administrators run the workspace. Members do the compliance work. A warehouse account can only look up a product and update its packaging data. Company details, markets, substances, suppliers, evidence and documents never reach a warehouse account at all.

No. They sign up with the factory or retailer role and get the free supply-chain workspace, which is never sold. A factory holds up to 25 products of its own once its link with you is confirmed, without the national producer-responsibility modules, and answers your requests from its My customers page. A retailer gets a read-only library of the documents you issue, with no products of its own. Your Pro or Enterprise subscription carries the chain. A supplier that does not want an account keeps using its portal link, as before.

Nothing is deleted. The workspace becomes read-only until a plan is chosen. Your full backup stays downloadable: a .zip with the data plus every file you uploaded. The JSON data export stays too, so your data is never held hostage.

Because the work is yours. A consultancy sells you an expert who does the work for you, and charges for every hour of it. This sells you the structure to do it yourself. That means the checklist of what applies, the calculators, the organized evidence and the generated drafts. Nobody here reviews your products, certifies anything or signs anything for you, so you are not paying anyone to.

No, deliberately. No plan includes advice, review of your data or any other expertise service. Support covers the use of the software rather than the substance of your compliance. If you need an expert opinion, you need an expert. This tool will have your documents organized for the day you hire one.

The Finland module is included in every plan rather than sold separately — it is the reason most Finnish producers pick this over a generic EU tool. The eleven other national modules are included the same way.
